During Wildlife Weekends, we’re bringing the wild to you with an exciting lineup of live animal showcases from top organizations across the Lehigh Valley and beyond. Discover the wonders of nature up close, meet fascinating creatures, and engage with experts who share their passion for wildlife.

Finn the Striped Skunk Meet & Greet

Saturday, Aug. 3 & Saturday, Aug. 10
From 2-3 p.m.

Meet Finn the Striped Skunk!  Finn has joined Da Vinci Science Center as an education ambassador animal and can’t wait to help educate folks about conservation in the Lehigh Valley and beyond! Come meet Finn at the Science Center from 2-3pm this Saturday August 3rd and stay tuned for more information about how to have Finn and our other ambassador animals be featured in your field trips or come to your school or event!

This live animal encounter is included in the cost of general admission. Limited availability and subject to change.

Elmwood Park Zoo Live Animal Shows

Saturday, Aug. 17 & Sunday, Aug. 18
Shows at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., & 1:30 p.m.

Elmwood Park Zoo’s Zoo on Wheels program brings the zoo to Da Vinci Science Center with live animals and interesting artifacts that help bring learning to life! Potential animal guests include turtles, snakes, lizards, frogs, skunks, rabbits, ferrets, armadillos, hedgehogs, and more*.

*We cannot guarantee which animals may appear.

Wildlands Conservancy Animal Shows

Saturday, Aug. 24 & Sunday, Aug. 25
Shows at 11:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m., & 2:15 p.m.

Meet the animal ambassadors of Wildlands Conservancy!  Get up close and personal with live education birds, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles native to the Lehigh River Watershed, learn about these animals’ amazing adaptations, and what we can do to help protect them!
