Public Entrance
The public entrance to Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion is located at 815 W. Hamilton Street in downtown Allentown (click here for GPS directions).
Bus and Camp Drop-Off
Groups arriving by bus and students enrolled in science center camps and programs should enter through the Groups & Reserved Programs Entrance.
Bus & camp drop-off is only accessible from 9th Street. On 9th Street, turn left onto W. Court St (one way).
Parking
Free 5-hr. parking on Saturdays through Dec. 21 in select garages
The Allentown Parking Authority is offering up to 5 hours of free parking in the following parking garages only, on Saturdays from Nov. 30-Dec. 21.
- Community Deck: 13 S. 6th St., Allentown, PA 18101 (about 3 blocks from the Science Center)
- 940 Deck: 940 Linden St., Allentown, PA 18101 (about 3-4 blocks from the Science Center)
How to redeem offer:
- Keep original ticket from the parking deck (MUST be one of the above listed garages).
- Obtain 5-hour validation sticker from our Welcome Center (you must tell them which garage you parked in).
- Upon exiting one of the above listed garages, scan validation sticker on back of the deck ticket.

Spiral Deck
Parking entrances at 836 Linden Street and at 35 N. Ninth Street
(645 spaces, height clearance: 6’7″) is located directly behind the Science Center at 836 Linden St. The walk from there to our main entrance is one block.
When parking at the Spiral Deck, use the elevator located in the middle of the garage to exit right behind the Science Center on Court Street. Walk through the pedestrian walkway to the right of the Science Center to get to the front entrance.
Maple Street Deck
Entrances at 901-921 Walnut Street and at 924 W Maple Street
(1,100 spaces, height clearance: 7’0″) is located at 920 West Maple St. and offers a 2-3 block walk to our main entrance.
Please note: These parking garages require pull-in parking only. Backing into a spot is not permitted. If your vehicle is over height clearance, there is on-street metered parking available through the ParkMobile app.
Bus Routes
Public transportation is easily accessible at the Allentown Transportation Center located at 112 N. 6th St., two blocks northeast of the new science center (less than a 10-minute walk).
Public transportation is provided by LANta to and from sites throughout the Lehigh Valley.
